Samsung continues to work for its product range to get the operating system (OS) Android 7.0 Nougat, at least for the slide in the last year and 2016.
So far, in addition to the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, there are still some other products that will soon be getting an update to the OS.
Reported by GSM Arena, Friday (11/25/2016), a source said, Samsung is trying to bring Android smartphones and tablets Nougat to hers as much as possible.
At least after the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, Android Nougat will visit the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
The same source said that Samsung will also launch the OS for Galaxy Note 5 and tablet Galaxy Tab S2. Unfortunately, the source did not disclose the latest version of Android it will slide into the product line.
Samsung itself is one handset vendors that do not have a smartphone based on Android 7.0 Nougat, post-withdrawal Galaxy Note Phablet 7. The slide with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, then get an update to OS Nougat.
However, due to the explosion of a number of incidents Galaxy Note 7 phablet it is not sold anymore. As is known, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 decided to withdraw from the market, even stop production permanently.
